Sveta and Borja’s Icelandic Elopement

After Sveta and Borja got ready at the Frost and Fire hotel, we got snacks and beer and piled into their camper van to head to their ceremony! They said their vows under a private waterfall with no one there except us and their awesome officiant. After their ceremony we drove down to the black sand beach. We spent sunset climbing the rocks, admiring the light blue water contrasted with the pitch black sand, and watched the sun dip behind the mountains. On the way back we stopped at Skogafoss which was magical at 11 pm, and pet horses in the fields. Since they cancelled their elopement dinner reservation to spend more time exploring, we stopped for gas station sandwiches and ate them on the road haha. On the way back into town, the city was letting off an amazing fireworks show. I think it was because Ed Sheeran was playing that same night, but I like to think it was for these babes’ wedding 😉 Overall this was such an amazing elopement and am so happy for these two!
