GET IN TOUCH
You're in the right place! Go through the FAQs and my pricing, and reach out to me via my contact form

LET'S TALK
We will set up a time to chat about your elopement vision via a phone or Zoom call. We will decide if you need any add ons (getting ready, reception, film photos, etc) at this time too. You can always add them on later as well.

LET'S MAKE IT OFFICIAL
I will send you a contract + a payment portal where you can make your 50% deposit. I don’t need an exact location to book, just a general location.

TIME TO GET THE BALL ROLLING!
Now we can narrow down the location and time of day, talk lodging if you need advice, and I will be sending out a 40+ page elopement guide for all the little planning things in between! I’ll guide you through the process and be there for any questions you may have.

If we could give Sunnie more than 5 stars, please know we absolutely would! Sunnie helped my husband and I plan our dream adventure elopement and she was honestly the glue of our plan, as she was our main vendor! You can see on any platform that she uses that she creates pure magic with her camera but behind the camera she is the most genuine and kind human. She was an absolutely pleasure to work with and we want to be her clients forever! She is easy going, so fun and the gallery we received from our elopement is PERFECT to say the least. You will not be disappointed in any way if you choose to work with Sunnie!!

Sunnie is nothing short of AMAZING!!! Sunnie helped me with all my arrangements. I knew I wanted to do a mountain elopement, but I’d never been to Colorado before. Sunnie helped me find the perfect location for the elopement. She was always quick to respond and kept consistent communication. When we met Sunnie she was so friendly and fun. She’s just good vibes and will make you feel comfortable. Our pictures were everything I dreamed of and more! Honestly, we could not have made a better decision in hiring Sunnie as our photographer. I HIGHLY recommend her!!!

What the heck is an elopement?

A non traditional wedding with under 20 people!

HOW DO WE PICK PHOTO LOCATIONS?

I can help you choose your elopement location! I know so many amazing shoot locations in Colorado, and can help you research if you’re in another state.

CAN WE BRING OUR DOG?

Yes! I just need to know ahead of time so that I can avoid location planning to areas that don’t allow dogs.

what should we bring to our elopement?

Good shoes or boots if there is a hike, water, hand warmers if it's spring or winter, 1-2 outfits, an extra jacket, and champagne also makes a great photo op!

what do you shoot with and are you insured?

I shoot on two different camera bodies from Canon and have a variety of lenses, and have business insurance that I can provide to your venue if needed.

How long until we see our photos?

You will receive next day sneak peeks, and get your final gallery within 4-8 weeks

Should we elope during the week or the weekend?

GET IN TOUCH

What if my elopement is somewhere between your packages?

If your elopement doesn’t fall between either, I can custom make a package for you.

Okay, hear me out. You probably don’t want to elope on the weekend! Here’s why -

  • Natural areas are far less crowded on the weekdays. Your elopement will have the best chance of being an intimate and private experience if you opt for the weekdays.
  • It’s easier to reserve spots! Places like Indian Peaks Wilderness and Sapphire Point have permit systems in place. They are really easy to get normally, but a little harder to secure when the demand goes so high up on the weekends.
  • You can save money. Most of the vendors, sometimes even hotels, offer better weekday rates. Not to mention makeup artists, hair, florists, etc.
I do still shoot elopements on the weekends, but I will choose an area that I know is way more off the grid etc. You will have more location options Monday-Friday.

How many people can I bring?

I consider anything under 20 people to be an elopement. After that we start getting into an intimate wedding which has different pricing.

Sunrise or sunset?

Totally up to you! Sunrise usually means anywhere from a 2am-4am wake up call when you’re getting hair and makeup done, etc, so be ready for that. If it’s good with you, it’s good with me!

Where should I fly into?

If you’re eloping on the front range (3 hours from Denver), DIA will be your best bet. If you are eloping in the San Juans, Montrose airport is only about an hour from those locations. There’s also a small airport in Telluride.

How do I have a Leave no Trace elopement?

Avoid geotagging (A simple “Colorado” tag will do instead of a specific location). This keeps the areas sacred.
  • No confetti, no sparklers.
  • No trash left behind
  • Staying on the trails!

How do we make it officially official?

COLORADO ELOPEMENT LAWS: Couples are required to apply in person for their marriage license at the local County Clerk's office. Most counties allow you to fill out your application online. Then, you’ll need to make an appointment to show up in person.

Appointments only open 28 days in advance, so make sure you get the ball rolling on that!

After you get your license, you can literally go out that day and get legally married! There’s no waiting period.

How much do they cost? $30

Once a license is obtained, your ceremony needs to happen within 35 days,
and the license must be completed and returned within 65 days of getting the license.

A hard copy of your license needs to be delivered via in-person, deposited into a local dropbox, or via US Mail
